b)      Each match shall consist of five separate events. A player may not play more than once in any event.

        1)      Event 1: - four singles games:

Four games of single 301 (double in - double out),

Each game won gains 1 match point (a player may not play more than one game in this event).

        2)      Event 2: - two games of doubles cricket (with points).

Each game won gains 2 match points (a player may not play more than one game in this event).

        3)      Event 3: - four games of  single cricket (with points).

Each game won gains 1 match point (a player may not play more than one game in this event).

        4)      Event 4: - two games double 501 (easy in-double out).

Each game won gains 2 match points (a player may not play more than one game in this event).

        5)      Event 5: - one game of 801 or Super Cricket (with pts) (20-12 and Bulls)

Three players per team. Winner of game—gains 3 match points.

c)      The playing line-ups must be completed, blind, by both captains before start of each individual event. In the event, that a captain looks at the opposing captain's line-up prior to listing his own line-up, the opposing captain has the    option to change his line-up (blind) before the event.

d)      Should the team captain not be present, a designated team captain will be elected by his/her team members.

e)      All playing spots for an event must be filled with a player's card # and name or the word FORFEIT.

f)        LEGAL SCRATCH - if a posted player is not present or unable to play by his/her turn to play, one of the team's other players may play in his/her place, provided that the player's name has not been used elsewhere in that event (two maximum substitutions per team per night). If and when this occurs, the opposing team will also be allowed to scratch if they desire to do so (for the same game).

g)      ILLEGAL SCRATCH - if a players’ name is listed to play, the captain cannot scratch that player just because another player arrived.

h)      Once a substitution has been made, the original player will not be able to play in any remaining games of that particular event. Once a substitution has been posted, it cannot be reversed or changed without consent of the opposing captain.

i)        All nine registered members of a team may be used in any order in any spot on their teams’ line-up in any one event. In the event that a player, (in a doubles match) is not available for his/her turn and no substitution is available and the player on his/her arrival desires to play, the player will be allowed to play the match, in progress, in his/her turn.

j)        The submitted line-up will be the playing order for the first event. The match will start with: (1st—Single 301)  (2nd—Double Cricket)  (3rd—Single Cricket)  (4th—Double 501) (5th—801 or Super Cricket)

k)      The home team shall provide the scorer for the first game and then alternate with the opposing team for the  remainder of the match. If home team is scoring, the visitor team has the option to cork first. If visitor team is scoring, then home team has the option to cork first. To determine who begins each game, a player throws one dart at the bulls eye. The closest begins first. IMPORTANT; a double bulls eye beats a single bulls eye. If both players throw a double or single bulls eye, the darts are the same distance from the bulls eye, the darts are pulled and re-thrown with the player who threw second, now, throwing first. A dart must stick in the scoring surface of the board to count as a cork. If a player’s cork knocks the other player’s dart out of the board. The player, whose dart was knocked out, must re-cork. If the player who corks first scores either a single of double bulls eye and is acknowledged as such by the other player, the second player may have the dart pulled from the board. The scorekeeper will remove the dart from the bulls eye. This will be the only time a scorekeeper will touch a dart in the board other than to measure distance from the bulls eye with another dart.

l)        In a doubles event, either player from the team that wins the cork may throw first.

m)   In an 801 or Super Cricket event, any one, in the line-up, can cork, but the order of the line-up is the order in which players will shoot.

n)      The home team has the prerogative of choosing the board on which the match is to be played if there is more than one board. If board is questionable, please mark it under the "REMARKS" section.

o)      No later than 30 minutes prior to the time at which competition is scheduled, the nights' playing board and/or boards shall be cleared of play by the management of the management of the establishment. The board and/or boards then, will be declared open and will be available for player warm-up. All warm-up activities must be completed by match starting time. IMPORTANT: each player is allowed (3) three practice throws (9 darts) for practice before each game.

p)      After the first game of any event (Single 301), (Double Cricket), (Single Cricket), (Double 501), (801 or Super Cricket) is started, there will be a time limit of 5 minutes between games. If game is not underway within 5 minutes of the ending of the last game and the corking for the next game, that particular game will be forfeited to the opposing team. In addition, once a match is underway, no player involved in the match may delay the game for more than two (2) minutes between turns, unless the captains of both teams agree upon the interruption. We appeal to your sportsmanship. At the end of the allotted time, the opposing captain can call a forfeiture of the game, or in the case of a doubles match, the player involved will be disqualified and his partner will play a light match.

q)      If there is a practice board at the establishment, any player may practice in between or during games other than his/her own. A player may not throw in between turns while   involved in a game. Such action will lead to a forfeiture of that game. If this occurs, that player will forfeit the remainder of the game. (Singles - forfeit entire game), (Doubles, - partner must complete the remainder of the game by his/her self), (801 or Super Cricket game - the player that broke the practice board rule will not be allowed to finish the game, the team will go on playing without that player).

r)       The team captain or co-captain is responsible for the smooth running of each game. It is the captain or co-captain's prerogative to declare a forfeit of the match if the opposing team is not ready to play or does not have a minimum of 2 players. If a forfeit is declared, two members of the winning team must sign the evenings' scorecard.

s)      Home team captains are responsible for making sure that score cards are turned in at an appointed place and by the time determined at the beginning of each season. Failure to do so will result in a deduction of points (5 points for a late card and 10 points for no card). No exceptions!

11.    SCORING:

a)      Team captains are responsible for providing a scorekeeper for each game. Scorer must be an E.B.D.A. member, and on one of the teams playing the match. Captains may request that a score keeper be replaced during a game if a scorekeeper is “drunk” or is making too many mistakes. Score keeper must be replaced by another member of the same team.

b)      The home team is responsible for providing a "score recorder" who will attend to the evenings’ entries on the match scorecard. The visiting team is responsible for    having someone check the match score entries as they occur. A signed scorecard, when received by the league, shall remain the property of the league for record purposes.

c)      For a dart to score, the point (opposite end of shaft and flight) must remain in or touching the scoring surface of the board five (5) seconds or more after the third final dart has been thrown. Any dart, which falls out of the dartboard, cannot be re-thrown & will not count for any points. If the dart that falls counted for a double in, then no darts will count for points and that players’ turn is over.

d)      The scorekeeper must call out the player's score for each turn prior to the player removing his/her darts from the board. No dart may be touched by the thrower, another player, scorer, captain, or spectator. If a dart is touched by the thrower or anyone on his/her team, even when acting as scorekeeper, that players’ turn is over, only dart or darts in board will count. If scorekeeper touches dart of an opposing team, the thrower has the option to re-throw the dart that was touched plus remaining darts if any. Any changes made to correct mistakes in scoring or calling must be made before the next opposing player throws. Otherwise the score must remain as is.

e)      The scorekeeper is allowed to tell the player shooting what he has left. If indeed, the scorekeeper should happen to be wrong, the player is responsible for shooting at the correct out. The player should always double-check the score   before shooting for his/her out.

f)        The foul line rule will be enforced. A player's feet may not break the foul line. If the thrower has one or both feet over this line, that throw will not count. A player violating this rule should be warned, immediately, about his/her line foul by the opposing team captain. One warning, per team, will be       allowed. A 2nd infraction of the same team will forfeit that game.

g)      A thrower (only) may approach the dartboard between darts, to check on the exact location of his/her darts. The thrower, at no time, may not touch his/her darts or dartboard. In case of stumbling over the foul line, a thrower's turn may continue. We appeal to your sportsmanship.

h)      A dart that falls over the foul line can be re thrown. However, if the thrower was in motion of aiming or throwing, the dart may not be re-thrown. Once again, we appeal to your sportsmanship.

i)       In team matches, if a player throws out of turn, his score will be removed & the scheduled player will shoot for score. The player who threw out of turn will forfeit his next scheduled turn.

j)        In the event, if a player plays in a game other than the game that his name appears in, it is the opposing Captains option to replay the game with the correct players listed or continue the game as is. If the game continues, as is, the player who was supposed to play must play in the spot of the player who caused the infraction. If the player causing the infraction is not a listed player in that event, that game is automatically forfeited. Once the opposing Captain makes a decision, the game cannot be protested. Both Captains must initial card.

k)      The scorer of a match may tell a thrower the amount left for him/her to attain or what he/she has already thrown. At no time may the scorer tell a player where to throw his/her darts. No coaching from the scorekeeper in any division.

l)        COACHING IS ALLOWED – Advising a team player on where and how to throw his/her darts shall be considered as a form of coaching. The captain shall be considered the coach, unless he/she notifies the other team captain that they have appointed someone else (on their team) in his/her place. At no time may the captain or any team player coach from the scorekeeper position. A player may confer with his partner during doubles matches.

m)   High Outs, 8T0's, 4T0 or above, 3 Double Bulls, & Round of 9's (cricket only) must be listed (in the proper box provided) on the score card, the week it happens, and initialed by both team captains, in order to be awarded.

n)      If a player, in a 301, 501, or 801 game, throws a dart after busting, that team will receive one warning. If the infraction occurs again, that player will forfeit the remainder of the game. (Singles – forfeit entire game), (doubles or 801 – partner must complete the remainder of the game by his/her self). One warning, per team, will be given per night.

o)      Score card entries -- must have players' full name and card number. If your player does not have a number, please request one under remarks on the back of the card. If you do not have a full team to play, you must use the word “FORFEIT” in place where you do not have a player's name.
